Swatantra theatre and Films, Pune, is pleased to inform about our upcoming Hindi Feature film LABOUR PAIN- an unending saga . The film is inspired by true events on the life of labourers and the difficulties they faced during the corona virus pandemic, may it be the loss of their income source, struggle for basic needs and eventually coming out on roads and walking to their homes . The film made by this theatre group is a humble attempt to realise how integral these labourers are to our society. The film is shot on very limited resources and on a very constricted budget.
Poetry recited in the film is by a very esteemed and respected artist Shri Raghuvir Yadavji who, agreed to come on board without charging any fee.
